I composed this work with fond memories of the playground and surrounding area at my elementary school. It evokes the topsy-turvy nature of a set of monkey bars, the calm reflection of sitting on a rock in the shade, and the raucous excitement of a good game of tag. This suite is lovingly dedicated to the students and faculty of O'Connell Drive Elementary School, Porters Lake, Nova Scotia (go Ospreys!).
